Good morning Year One,
It's Friday! I hope you have had a wonderful week and enjoyed your activities.
Today I would like you to try writing your own alliteration. Alliteration is when words in a sentence start with the same sound. Follow the lesson below to learn how to identify alliteration and write your own. You could even try writing some alliteration sentences about our book this week 'Room on the broom'.
I would like you to think about the things you love.
What do you enjoy doing? Do you have any hobbies or clubs you attend?
Who do you love? Who is in your family?
Draw a little picture in each piece of the jigsaw and colour it in. Try and colour every piece a different colour to represent everything you love. You could make your own with cardboard or any other materials and display it in your house!
