It's a bank holiday! So no daily tasks today. If you do want to keep yourself busy access the phonics, maths, dough disco ect pages on the home learning page! I have added lots to keep you busy. It's a sunny day so get your suncream and shades on and get some fresh air! Check out the VE day ideas below and enjoy a story with Nick. See you next week. Miss Pinnington.

 

 VE Day celebration ideas ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

1. Create bunting and put up in your windows ๐Ÿ 

2. Plan an outfit to wear. You could dress in red, white or blue or maybe try dressing as someone from the 1940’s ๐Ÿ‘”๐Ÿ‘–๐Ÿ‘—

3. Plan a picnic for Friday to have in your front garden ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿฅค(social distancing of course!) ๐Ÿงบ

4. Paint and decorate some rocks in red, blue or white and pop them on your front wall/door ๐ŸŽจ

5. Research some ration recipes and have a go at some baking or cooking ๐Ÿฅ˜

6. Listen to war time music and think about how it is similar or different to music you hear today ๐ŸŽถ

7. Make your own WW2 model ๐Ÿ”ง

8. Design and make a street decoration to put in your front garden ๐ŸŒฒ

9. Create a video or write a letter to one of the heroes of WW2 ๐Ÿ…

10. Write a story or draw a picture of what the world would have looked like ๐Ÿ–Š

11. Make some hats to wear on Friday ๐ŸŽฉ

12. Make musical instruments out of recycled items to play on Friday after your picnic ๐Ÿฅ

13. Find out if there is anyone in your family who was in WW2 ๐Ÿ’ญ
