Friday 8th

Happy Friday and a very happy VE day!

Victory in Europe Day/VE Day took place on May 8th 1945. It was a public holiday and day of celebration to mark the defeat of Germany by the Allied forces and the official end of World War 2.

Today, if school was open as usual, we would have been off as it would have been a bank holiday, so I can imagine a lot of you will be doing lots of fun and lovely things with your families at home today and will not want to do school work - this is OK!

I am going to upload some VE day activities that you can do at home, like baking, colouring, crafting and code-breaking but it is up to you and your family if you would like to do it!

I hope you have the most wonderful weekend and well done for continuing to work hard!

Miss Doran :)
