An Easter Message

Dear Families

May we wish you all a joyful and blessed Easter.

Our prayer is that each one of us experience the new hope that Jesus Christ offers through His death and Resurrection

Below is a link to the prayer time prepared by Monica, to celebrate Easter Sunday

Here is a short Mass (30mins) by Fr Rob Galea, of Australian X-Factor fame!

We are also attaching a video created to his song "NO Greater Love" which can also help you celebrate this day in a special way

No Greater Love

May the peace and love of the Risen Christ fill our lives, and so our world through us.

God bless

A Good Friday message

Dear Parents

This is a reminder that today is Good Friday- the day Christians remember Jesus' death on the Cross.

It is part of the Easter Tridiuum: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter.

Please do take time today to think, reflect and pray with your children today, to mark the importance of this day, especially at 3pm.

There are videos on the KirkbySacramentalProgramme youtube channel

Please take time to make a cross together and place in a prominent place in your home, as your own way of saying thanks to Jesus

There is also other sites that provide videos and live stream events to help us remember.

Fr Grant from Lydiate will be presenting an online service at 3pm

The Sion Community shared a dramatic presentation of the stations of the cross

In Trafalgar Square, London, there is usually a live passion play, so the people behind this are providing an aternative at 3pm on

I am also attaching a link to a video made from Lego that reflects on the story

Do let us know if you have find alternative videos to watch

With prayers and blessings for this Good Friday

Monica and Fr David

Monday 6th April 2020
Dear Parents
We are putting up different reflections for each day of Holy Week, to help the children fully celebrate Easter Sunday next weekend.
Please do find time each day to try and watch the videos and so spend 5-10 minutes in prayer together.
It will really make a difference not only to Easter Sunday but also throughout the time we send in lockdown.
With prayer and blessing for this Holy Week, separated by geography but united in prayer
God bless
Monica and Fr David

Dear Parents

Here is the link for today's prayer time, together with a link to a Godly Play story about Abraham in the desert, that a grandmother recorded for her grandchildren, but then sent to me.
Thank you to all the families who have sent us photographs of their prayertimes. We will try to create a display using them, and any others sent in, to celebrate this time of prayer together, once we return to church and school.
God bless, and stay safe
Monica and Fr David
