Good morning Year 1,
I hope you have had a lovely bank holiday weekend (full of sunshine ) and enjoyed celebrating VE Day on Friday with your families at home! We are into our 8th week of home learning now and you are all doing amazing being superstar home learners! Keep it up
In this lesson you will be counting and comparing numbers within 100 using a number line. You will be using the vocabulary, greater and less to decide which number has the greatest or lesser value.
Click on ‘Diamonds’ and choose the book ‘Zara and the Lost Cat’.
National Academy: Follow the link for today’s English lesson. In the lesson, you will be listening to my favourite story of The Tiger who came to Tea! You will then be answering questions on this. Enjoy!
Today I would like you to create a picture using pointillism! All you need is cotton buds or something small to make dots. Dip your cotton bud into different coloured paints and use the dots to make a picture of your choice. I have added some creations for you to look at!
Can you think about the special people in your life? These home learning packs have been developed to support your child during this time of change when they may not be able to see friends or family they are used to seeing often. The lesson encourages children to talk about these special people and talk about how they are feeling with some positive ways to manage their feelings.
Have a marvellous Monday!
