Good morning Year 1!
I hope you have had a lovely weekend spending time as a family and you feel refreshed for the week ahead! This week some of our activities are going to be focused on animals!
On Friday Chester Zoo hosted a virtual day so we could see all of the animals and learn some interesting facts about them! My favourite zoo animal is an elephant. What is yours?
I have attached the link if you didn't manage to see this as this may help with your English activities this week.

English
Write a set of questions about animals you would like to find out about.
Research about your favourite zoo animals to find the answers to your questions. You could use your ipad/computer or find a book and read some facts together. E.g. What do tigers eat?
Creative time
Create a mask: Using different materials around the house create a mask of their favourite animal. Think about the colours and shape. Can they add different textures to their mask?
Mindfulness
Cosmic Yoga- All about monkeys!
Enjoy your day and keep smiling!
