6th April-17th April

Good morning Year 1!

I hope you have enjoyed your weekend and had some fun on your daily walk or playing in your garden/yard in the lovely, breezy weather!

The next two weeks are normally our Easter holidays in school so this is your time to enjoy lots of new experiences at home and relax from your hard work over the last two weeks!

During your Easter break you can still access daily activities on Purple Mash.  Next week aged 5 – 7 will be reading a story called Max and the Pirates of Puddleton Bay’. As well as completing some activities based around the story the children will complete a range of activities linked to Spring and visiting the doctors.

Here are a few ideas of the things you could be doing to keep yourself busy and have some fun with your family:

You could also try:

  • Making your own Easter bonnet
  • Create your own Easter egg
  • Read/watch the Easter story
  • Mindfulness Easter colouring on Twinkl
  • Scavenger hunt
  • Write Easter cards to your family
  • Bake a cake or a new recipe!

Enjoy quality time with your family! Remember to keep smiling and doing the things you enjoy to do to make you happy!

Take care and stay safe,

Miss Edwardson
