RE at home

We are facing a time of great uncertainty and worry. During this time, we will try and offer some guidance, reassurance and support as best we can through our home learning pages. This page will be updated regularly with ideas for some prayers at home and activities that you may like to do with your children. These ideas are here for you to use as little or often as you like. Whatever suits your family best. Just spending time with each other and talking through any worries your children may have will hopefully get you all through this very testing time. Prayer may offer you and your children some comfort. Stay safe x

A Message from Fr David and Monica

Dear Parents
We hope you and children are all well and finding the resilience and faith needed at this difficult time.
One thing has become clear, that it is important to stay connected with one another, despite the neccesary distancing, and so we have created our own youtube channel with the same name as our email, Kirkby Sacramental Programme. Here we will post  videos which help our faith community of parish and school to keep in touch with each other. In this way we will still be able to celebrate Easter together though we are in our separate places.
Below is a link to a video that retells today’s Gospel. We hope that you will find time to watch it with your child so that you can pray together, and still keep Sunday as a special day, even though no one can’t come to church
Do let us know if you have any specific prayer requests or if your child has anything they would like to share with others, or any special songs or stories they would like to hear.
A number of people have said how much they enjoyed last week's Mass from Fr Rob Galea in Australia. He travels to different homes so no gurgling baby in this one, but still great music!
Be assured that you are all constantly in our prayers
God bless
Monica and Fr David
