Reading
Purple Mash- Log in and find the tab that says ‘Serial Mash’. Click on ‘Diamonds’ and choose the book 'Ned and the Jungle Animals'. Read chapter 4 and answer the questions in our quiz. Can you get 3/3?
If you finish can you try the paint project? Colour the picture from the story. Sort the words to make a sentence.
English
Can you pick two animals you have researched this week and describe the similarities and differences? Split your exercise book into two and write down the facts you have found. E.g. Elephants and Pigs both have tails but a pig has a snout and an elephant has a trunk!
You could draw a beautiful picture of both of your animals underneath!
Creative time
Can you create your own jungle or zoo scene? This could be done by collecting leaves, sticks from your garden/yard or by drawing your own. If you have any animals at home or blocks you could use these to add to your creation!
Other suggested resources: Newspaper, empty cartons/tins/toilet rolls to make animal enclosures or trees!
Mindfulness
DO SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU SMILE!
Can you build with Lego or blocks?
Can you make a dance routine or sing a song?
Play a game with a family member
Draw or colour
Write a card to someone to brighten their day
Mindfulness picture
Try go noodle dance for some fun!
