Wellbeing

In times when it may not be possible to complete things that you would like to such as a visit to the zoo or visiting family members, this wellbeing craft is a lovely way to be hopeful for the future and provide things to look forward to.

This activity is perfect for children to complete or why not try the activity as a family and all add ideas of things you are looking forward to?

How can I support the mental wellbeing of my children?

Completing a wellbeing craft activity together is a lovely way to support the mental wellbeing of your child.

By talking about things you are looking forward to doing in the future, it creates a sense of hope.

Encourage children to talk about things they would like to do in the future and include some of your own ideas too.

These can be everyday activities that are not present at the time, such as going to visit friends and family, to more significant events or activities, such as going on holiday or visiting the beach.
