Please see the suggested websites that have lots of fun interactive learning games. There are also some Home Learning packs with worksheets and activities for you children to have a go at. In addition, I will be posting daily ideas for tasks.

This year is a very significant year for the children and we will be encouraging them to demonstrate self-determination, looking to instill a growth mindset and harnessing a genuine enthusiasm for learning through an engaging and exigent curriculum.
Please use our school website at your leisure to keep up to date on all of the exciting topics that we are covering this year.
Attendance and punctuality
It is imperative that your child has good attendance with the government requirements being 98%. It is also imperative that your child arrives on time as this minimises disruption in the classroom.
Please ensure they come to school, on time, everyday.
Reading at home with your child will help to advance your child's confidence when reading and improve their fluency and understanding of texts that they have read. Children ought to read for up to 10 minutes each night. Home reading books will be changed weekly (every Friday) for those students who have read.
If you haven't already done so ask me for a form to register for the home reading scheme. I will be happy to get you a new copy printed out.
Homework will shore up topics that have been covered in class that week and may consist of Maths, English or Topic (History, Geography, Science etc.) work. Spelling sheets will be given every week and the children will be tested on these spellings every Friday.
A key focus for Year 3/4 this year will be to demonstrate a complete understanding of their times tables. As such, each week the children will focus on a different times table to cement this knowledge. They are encouraged to practice this in their own time.
P.E is on a Monday afternoon. P.E. kits consist of a white top, black/navy blue shorts and black pumps. PE kits are part of our school uniform and must be adhered to.
On occasion, we may have sporting events during the week, so P.E. kit should be kept in school unless it needs washing. PE kit will be sent home each half term. Please ask your child if their pumps are the correct fit as they do grow quite quickly.
Your child is encouraged to bring in bottled water daily to stay hydrated all day. Water bottles should be taken home each night.
Please ring for attention at the main office and do not enter the school site.
Please remember to adhere to social distancing of 2m when waiting outside the school gate.
