Good morning Year 6
Soon, you will be starting secondary school and although this is not how we hoped or planned to spend the last few months of Year 6, you have all learnt to adapt and shown great resilience over the past few weeks completing your work at home.
Starting secondary school can be an anxious time; you might be feeling lots of different emotions such as excited, nervous, determined and even scared! If you have older siblings, they might be able to offer you lots of good advice about secondary school, as well as your parents or carers.
To help you with the transition from primary to secondary school, there is an end of primary school booklet below which you might like to begin completing. Hopefully, when the time is right, you can share this booklet with your friends and discuss your memories and achievements from your time at St Marie’s. There are also some links to websites which offer advice and guidance for starting secondary school.
